7 minute Calorie burn workout

There are so many types of workouts but we discover 7 Minute Calorie Burn Workout. Only recently has the “calorie in, calorie out” theory become widely recognized among trainers and fitness professionals worldwide.  Look anywhere on the internet, social media, and fitness magazines and you will find thousands of articles that may read something like this: “Tricks to Fat Loss”, “lose weight quick”, “get results NOW”.  Sound familiar?

Such articles are written specifically with you in mind!  No, not the “athlete” you.  The “consumer” you.  After all, why teach a man how to fish for himself when he is paying to fish in your lake?

 This article is intended to ‘teach you how to fish as it were.  It will teach you how to formulate a fun and simple 7-minute calorie burn at your home or the gym.  So, all that being said, let’s simplify this “getting fit” business. 

Workout

 “Calories in, calories out.”  You may have heard this said before but up until recently, many people have shrugged this off as another gimmick, another “trick”.  Why don’t we look at it this way…  Calories provide energy to our body through nutrients and macronutrients. 

Macronutrients include the fats, protein, and carbohydrates we consume in our meals.  Much like gasoline provides energy to our car, we get our energy from these ‘macros’.  However, too much gas without driving our car will of course have adverse effects on the cars ability to function.  It’s the same concept with our body.  Energy needs to be used or it will be put in storage…. “Ahem”… hips, thighs, belly etc.

Is there really any benefit to a “7-minute calorie burn”?

Yes!! And it’s great because we are busy!  A quick 7–10-minute workout to burn calories can give a beginner athlete what is needed to start on a healthier routine while improving our moods.  In addition to this, we can certainly wrap our minds around 7 minutes, right?

Tired from work? Mentally prepare and push through!  You have spent you whole day doing for others.  NOW is the time to do some good for yourself.

Busy with kids?  Include them by making it a game!  You will have 7-10 minutes of fun with the kids and they will love the structured fun they are having with mom and/or dad!  (This includes fur babies)

House is too cluttered?  Go outside.  The idea is simply not to make excuses. 

What kind of workouts can I do? 

Research shows that a person can burn more calories at once by performing multi-joint, or complex, movements.  This is any motion that includes more than one joint such as bodyweight squat, split lunge with a bicep curl, or a bodyweight push-up.  By using compound motions that you enjoy you will be more likely to accomplish your goal so when you find a workout or motion that you enjoy write it down so you can use it again later!

HIIT (high-intensity interval training) is a proven way to burn a maximum number of calories.  By incorporating a HIIT program in your daily routine, in addition to nutrient-dense meals, your body will send the signal that it needs to get up and be active!  To do that, you’ll need to burn those calories.   

One example of this may look like this:

Beginner: Working Time Resting Time Intermediate: Working Time Resting Time
Body Squat 30 second 30 second Jump Squat 40 seconds 20 seconds
Alternating Lunge 30 second 30 second Slip Lunge Jump 40 seconds 20 seconds
Plank 30 second 30 second Mountain Climber 40 seconds 20 seconds
           

*30-40 seconds of working you must give it your all!

Set your timer for 7 – 10 minutes and repeat 3-5 of your favorite workouts using the suggested resting/working time above.
